The leaders of the UK, Germany, Italy, and France have stated their readiness to lift sanctions against Iran if it fully transparently conducts its nuclear activities.
According to AFP, the four leaders issued a joint statement positively assessing the agreement reached between Iran and the US.
The document notes that the "Group of Four" intends to remove restrictions in response to clear and verifiable steps Iran will take under its nuclear program.
The leaders emphasized that they are considering cooperation with the US, Iran, and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.
It is noted that officials from the US, Iran, and Pakistan (acting as mediator) have confirmed the agreement between Washington and Tehran. The document is expected to be signed on June 19 in Geneva.
