Gardabani crash death toll rises to 8

The death toll from the Gardabani road accident in Georgia increases to 8, all victims are local Azerbaijani youths.

The death toll from a tragic road accident in Georgia's Gardabani district has risen to eight, according to the head of Rustavi Central Hospital, Papuna Bakhtadze.

He stated that a person brought to the hospital in critical condition could not be saved.

On May 14, a speeding BMW crashed into a tree, killing seven people initially. Another person was hospitalized with severe injuries. All victims are local Azerbaijani youths, including two brothers.

An investigation into the incident is underway.
