A resident of the Gaza Strip has filed the first-ever complaint against the Hamas organization at the International Criminal Court.
According to Oxu.Az, citing The Jerusalem Post, the Palestinian's lawyers sent an official appeal to the ICC prosecutor demanding that 14 Hamas leaders be held accountable.
It is reported that the complainant lost relatives during the war in the Gaza Strip and blames Hamas. He accuses the organization's leaders of using civilians as "human shields", embezzling property, causing intentional damage, recruiting people, including minors, for armed activities, and other serious crimes.
