The number of dollar billionaires worldwide has reached 3,302, setting a new record. This is 383 (13.1%) more than last year.

The data comes from Swiss bank UBS Group AG's annual report, covering April 2025 to April 2026.

Over 1,000 billionaires live in the US. China has 562, and India 211. Germany (193) and Russia (122) also feature.

Most billionaires have assets under $50 billion. 18 have between $50-100 billion, and 19 have over $100 billion. Of the latter, 15 reside in the US.

Total billionaire wealth grew by 25% in 2026 compared to 2025.
