A horrific crash occurred in Simi Valley, California, when a white Tesla Model X mounted the sidewalk and plowed into the terrace of the Urbane Cafe restaurant.
An elderly female pedestrian was killed. Rescuers found her trapped under the electric car's wheels. Five others sustained minor injuries.
The driver, also an elderly woman, suffered minor hand and wrist injuries and was taken to the hospital.
