Hantavirus confirmed in Spain

Spain confirms first hantavirus case. Patient evacuated from MV Hondius cruise ship.

Spain's Ministry of Health has officially confirmed the first case of hantavirus infection in the country. The patient is a passenger evacuated from the cruise ship "MV Hondius".

Test results for 13 other evacuees are pending. Several European countries have already declared quarantines due to hantavirus.
