Two armed attacks in Honduras have left 25 people dead, including six police officers.
The first attack occurred at a plantation in Trujillo municipality. Unidentified gunmen opened fire on workers, killing at least 19. Relatives have removed some bodies from the scene.
The second attack took place in Omoa municipality, near the Guatemalan border. Police officers were ambushed, resulting in the deaths of six officers, including a senior official.
Honduras' Security Ministry has deployed police and military forces to the affected areas. Special teams have been formed to investigate the crimes.
