Horses stampeded through the streets of Rome after being spooked by fireworks during a rehearsal for the Republic Day parade. The animals scattered across the city.
Four people were injured while trying to stop the horses, with two hospitalized. About 15 horses also sustained injuries.
Police believe the horses were left unsupervised during the drill.
