Yemen's Ansar Allah (Houthi) rebel movement launched a missile strike on targets near Tel Aviv and announced a complete ban on Israeli ships crossing the Red Sea.

According to Oxu.Az citing TASS, the radicals' armed forces issued a statement.

"The Yemeni armed forces fired rockets at important Israeli points in the occupied Jaffa area (meaning Tel Aviv) and hit targets precisely," the statement said.

The Houthis also declared a full and absolute ban on maritime navigation for Israel in the Red Sea.

"From the moment this statement is published, all enemy movements become a military target for our armed forces," the radicals noted.
