New Cabinet of Ministers approved in Hungary

Hungary's new Cabinet of Ministers approved. Peter Magyar becomes Prime Minister, 16 ministers appointed. FIDES moves to opposition.

On April 12, after parliamentary elections, the new Cabinet of Ministers led by Peter Magyar, chairman of the "Tisa" party, was formed.

According to Oxu.Az, the president, in accordance with the constitution, signed a decree appointing 16 ministers proposed by the prime minister and supported by parliament.

The ceremony of presenting credentials to the new cabinet members was held at the Sandor Palace and broadcast live. They will begin their duties immediately after taking the oath before the legislature.

The first official working meeting of the new government is scheduled for May 13.

The previous government, led by former Prime Minister Viktor Orban, resigned. After 16 years in power, the "FIDES - Hungarian Civic Alliance" party will continue its activities in opposition.
