An LPG tanker destined for India has passed through the Strait of Hormuz for the first time since February.
According to Oxu.Az, Bloomberg reported this based on data from maritime tracking companies.
The tanker in question is "Al Hamra", owned by UAE's Adnoc Logistics & Services. The ship was at the entrance of the Strait of Hormuz in April, and on April 19 the crew turned off the transponders. Yesterday, while already in the Indian Ocean, the tanker reactivated its transmitters.
According to Kpler, the tanker was loaded with gas at the ADNOC facility on Das Island in the Persian Gulf.
