A devastating fire broke out at a metallurgical plant in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India.
At least eight workers were killed and several others injured.
According to The Times of India, the fire started in the converter shop after a ladle carrying molten metal overturned.
Some workers suffered up to 70% burns and were hospitalized.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed condolences on social media and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
