Iran has agreed not to charge ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz as part of a possible deal to resolve the conflict with the US.

Fox News reports, citing a senior US official, that Iran will open the strategic strait and demand no fees from vessels.

Under the deal, the US would lift the blockade, and Iran would clear the strait of mines.

Recall that Trump said a deal could be signed on June 14.
