Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has called on the United States to withdraw its troops from Middle Eastern countries.
In a post on his X account, he stated: "Our armed forces will not leave any attack or threat unanswered. If you want security, leave our region."
This demand comes after the US Central Command reported strikes on Iran following the downing of an American Apache helicopter over the Strait of Hormuz. In response, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) attacked US bases in the Middle East.
