Iran's Supreme Court verdict was carried out early on May 13, hanging Ehsan Afreshteh, accused of collaborating with Israel's Mossad intelligence agency.
According to Iran's state TV, Afreshteh underwent special training under Mossad agents in Nepal and learned three foreign languages: English, French, and Hebrew.
Investigations revealed he used the code name "James" and operated as an online taxi driver to carry out initial tasks.
