Iran's Ministry of Health has issued an official statement regarding the health condition of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
The statement emphasizes that injuries sustained by Khamenei during US and Israeli bombings have not disfigured his appearance.
The ministry added that the injuries did not lead to amputation or disability: "The trauma suffered by the Supreme Leader is not of a nature that would disfigure his face or overall appearance".
It is recalled that earlier, Reuters reported, citing sources, that Khamenei's face was unrecognizable and both legs were seriously injured after a strike on his residence in central Tehran.
