Iran will restore internet access within 24 hours. The connection process has already started.
According to Oxu.Az, ISNA reported this citing a source in the Ministry of Communications. The decree was issued by Minister of Communications Sattar Hashemi.
On May 25, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian ordered the restoration of internet access. The decree was sent to the Ministry of Communications.
The NetBlocks monitoring project reported that Iran has been without internet for over 80 days. Earlier in April, the service noted that the internet outage was the longest nationwide internet blackout ever recorded.
The internet was cut on February 28 after US and Israeli military operations began.
