Iran will not charge any service fees for passing through the Strait of Hormuz for the next 60 days. The decision was announced by the country's Supreme National Security Council.
According to the statement, ships must still apply to Iran's Persian Gulf Supervision Administration (PGSA), and applications will be processed promptly. Iran will also continue mine clearance operations in the strait under a memorandum with the US.
Recall that a 14-point ceasefire memorandum between Iran and the US has been signed.
