Iran has issued a death sentence for a political prisoner.
According to the "Free Iran" Telegram channel, human rights organizations have reported the news.
Manouchehr Fallah, 36, held in Lakan prison in Rasht, Gilan province, has been sentenced to death.
Sources say he was accused of membership in the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran and charged with "undermining national security through armed insurrection."
