Iran's missile strike on the US "Ali Al Salem" airbase in Kuwait has left approximately five Americans injured.
Oxu.Az reports that this information was provided by Bloomberg.
According to the agency's source, the strike was carried out with a Fateh-110 ballistic missile in recent days. Kuwait's air defense systems intercepted the missile, but debris fell onto the base. Several US soldiers and contractors sustained minor injuries.
Additionally, two MQ-9 Reaper combat drones, each worth about $30 million, were damaged, and one was destroyed. The strike occurred amid discussions in Washington about extending the ceasefire that has been in effect since April.
The Fateh-110 is an Iranian short-range ballistic missile capable of carrying a warhead of approximately 500 kilograms.
