Iran's naval forces have attacked a US destroyer in the Gulf of Oman.

According to Oxu.Az citing the Fars news agency, this was stated in a statement by the Iranian Navy's press service.

"A few hours ago, Iran's naval forces struck the command and control center on a US destroyer that was attempting to approach our territorial waters in the Gulf of Oman, immediately after detection and identification," the statement said.
