Tehran has filed a lawsuit against the United States at the Hague Arbitration Court over attacks on nuclear facilities and imposed sanctions.

According to Oxu.Az, citing the Mizan agency, the lawsuit relates to the 12-day war launched by Israel and the US against Iran in June 2025. Washington is accused of violating international obligations. The document was submitted in February-March 2026.

Iran bases its complaint on the 1981 Algiers Accords, which established an international arbitration tribunal and prohibit US interference in Iran's internal affairs.

Tehran demands that the arbitration court prevent US interference, both direct and indirect, and provide full compensation for damages.
