Tehran, Washington, and Beirut plan to create a trilateral working group to monitor and maintain the ceasefire in Lebanon.
According to Oxu.Az, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stated in an interview that Iran, the US, and Lebanon will establish a joint committee to ensure Lebanon's sovereignty. Iran's ambassador to Lebanon will represent the country on the committee.
In June, Washington and Tehran signed a memorandum of understanding providing for an immediate cessation of hostilities on all fronts, including Lebanon.
