Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced that a peace deal between Iran and the US could be signed within 24 hours.
Sharif wrote on his X account: "We have never been closer to a peace agreement. The deal is expected to be finalized within the next 24 hours."
He added that Pakistan is ready for the electronic signing of the agreement, followed by technical-level talks next week.
Sharif thanked both the US and Iran, expressing confidence that the historic peace deal will form a strong foundation for lasting peace.
