Four working groups have been established following technical talks between Iran and the United States, according to Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi.
The groups will focus on lifting sanctions, nuclear issues, reconstruction and economic development, and monitoring processes.
An agreement to release $12 billion of Iran's frozen funds has moved to the operational phase. Additionally, a mechanism for safe passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz and a conflict prevention unit in Lebanon involving Qatar and Pakistan have been approved.
During the technical talks, a general license for selling Iranian oil, petrochemicals, and related services was issued, and agreements were reached on releasing frozen assets.
