IRGC: Kuwait airport hit by US Patriot missile

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed that the missile that hit Kuwait International Airport was a US Patriot missile, not an Iranian one.

IRGC spokesman Hossein Mohebbi stated: "Our investigation shows that no Iranian missile hit the Kuwait airport. The damage was caused by a failed US Patriot interceptor."

Earlier, Kuwaiti authorities had reported that the airport was struck by Iranian drones and missiles.
