Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has launched attacks against US forces in the Middle East.
According to the Tasnim news agency, the IRGC Navy targeted US military positions in the region.
The IRGC stated that the strikes were in retaliation for recent US operations.
Earlier, CENTCOM confirmed striking Iranian targets in response to an attack on a commercial vessel in the Strait of Hormuz.
