Israel has begun withdrawing troops from southern Lebanon after a ceasefire agreement. Details on buffer zones.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have begun a partial withdrawal of troops from southern Lebanon.

According to Oxu.Az, this was reported by the "Al Jadeed" TV channel.

"The Israeli army has started withdrawing some of its troops from Dbayeh," the report stated.

Earlier, the US State Department announced that Israel and Lebanon had reached a ceasefire agreement.

It is noted that the parties have agreed to accelerate the creation of buffer zones under the full control of the Lebanese Armed Forces.
