Israel's National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir stated that Israel is not obligated to comply with the terms of the agreement between the United States and Iran.

"Israel does not operate under Washington's authority," he said on social media platform X.

Ben-Gvir emphasized that Israel is an independent, sovereign state and not a banana republic.

He argued that since Israel is not a party to the document and it ignores the country's security interests, it cannot impose any obligations on Israel.
