The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) reported new casualties in the combat zone in southern Lebanon.

According to a statement from the IDF press service, 20-year-old Staff Sergeant Adam Tsarfati from the "Maqlan" unit of the "Oz" special forces brigade was killed there.

Three more Israeli soldiers were injured in the same incident: one in serious condition, the other two with light injuries.

The army confirmed that all were hospitalized.
