The head of Israel's General Security Service (Shin Bet), David Zini, made a secret visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
He met with Mohammed Dahlan, former head of the Preventive Security Service of the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) in the Gaza Strip.
This information was reported by state broadcaster Kan, citing its own sources. The agency neither confirmed nor denied the visit officially.
Earlier, The Wall Street Journal reported that the US, Israel, and Arab states consider Dahlan a suitable compromise figure to lead Gaza after the conflict.
