Italian law enforcement has conducted a large-scale operation against drug crime across the country.

As a result of the raids, 1,335 individuals involved in illegal drug trafficking have been arrested.

According to Oxu.Az, this was reported by the Agenzia Nova agency.

The operation took place this week in various regions of Italy. During the raids, charges were filed against 2,358 people, and over 430 kilograms of narcotics, 111 firearms, and 250 cold weapons were seized.

Additionally, more than 297,000 individuals suspected of illegal weapons possession and other offenses have been identified, including 15,665 minors.
