Heavy rains and a typhoon in western Japan have led to the evacuation of over 2 million people.
According to TBS NEWS DIG, the National Fire and Disaster Management Agency issued evacuation orders for 53 municipalities across 13 prefectures.
In Kagoshima Prefecture, three people sustained minor injuries, and 25 buildings were flooded in Fukuoka and Kagoshima.
Previously, on June 8, authorities had ordered the evacuation of 181,500 people from 10 prefectures due to tsunami threat.
