EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas has announced she will not run for the Estonian presidency in the September election.

ERR news agency reported the announcement.

Kallas emphasized that the position is not for her. She also reflected on who she could have been if she weren't leading European diplomacy.

“I travel to various countries and sometimes think I could have been an ambassador in one of them. But my husband says being an ambassador is too quiet for me,” Kallas noted.
