Shots were heard and an explosion occurred in the Gulistan-e-Johar area of Karachi, Pakistan.

According to Oxu.Az, local police reported the incident to Dawn newspaper.

Police special forces and Rapid Response Units arrived at the scene.

No casualties have been reported so far.

The area has been cordoned off by police, according to the publication.
