Russian auto expert Alexander Parkhomchuk warned Gazeta.ru that incorrect installation shortens tire lifespan and increases accident risk.
The expert outlined main mistakes:
- Size mismatch: Tires and rims must match in size.
- Rim inspection: Check for cracks, corrosion, and dents.
- Cleanliness: Rims must be free of old adhesive and sealant residues.
- Balancing: Tires must be properly balanced.
