Iran will not allow further escalation in Lebanon.
Oxu.Az reports that this was stated by Mohsen Rezaei, military adviser to Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, on the social network X.
"The Strait of Hormuz is under Iran's control. We will not allow the continuation of a naval blockade by the US, and we will not tolerate further escalation in Lebanon. The patience of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Armed Forces is not infinite," he emphasized.
Earlier, Iran's Tasnim news agency reported that due to Israeli strikes on Lebanese territory, Iran has halted message exchanges with the US within the framework of the negotiation process.
According to the report, Tehran will not resume talks with Washington until Israeli troops are completely withdrawn from Lebanese territory and the strikes cease.
