Rescuers have discovered the body of the final victim of an avalanche that struck the Okinsky district in Buryatia on April 30. The news was announced by the Republic's Civil Defense and Emergency Agency, marking the end of search and rescue operations.

The deceased, a man born in 1985, was found at 3:20 PM local time. By 7:00 PM, rescue teams had transported the body to the area near the monument to Vitaly Tikhonov, where it was handed over to police.

Eight rescuers from the Buryatia Republican Search and Rescue Service and five from the Irkutsk Search and Rescue Service participated in the efforts, which have now concluded completely.
