Evika Silinya has resigned as Prime Minister of Latvia.
This was reported by Oxu.Az, citing the publication "Sputnik Latvia".
Although it was expected that the Prime Minister would make a statement in parliament, she instead held a press conference at the Cabinet of Ministers.
It is noted that the Prime Minister announced her departure after the resignation of Defense Minister Andris Spruds amid an incident involving Ukrainian UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles - drones) crashing in Latvia.
