Lebanon's Foreign Ministry has sent a complaint to the UN Security Council regarding Iran.

Lebanon's permanent UN representative, Ahmed Arafa, confirmed the news to MTV channel.

Iran is accused of interfering in Lebanon's internal affairs and dragging the country into conflict with Israel.

The complaint accuses Iranian entities, including the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), of illegal actions and open defiance of the Lebanese government.

"Thousands of people have been killed and injured in Lebanon; over a million citizens have been forced to leave their homes. Unprecedented material losses have occurred, and Israel has seized parts of Lebanese territory, establishing security zones," the diplomat stated.

He recalled that the military escalation began after Hezbollah fighters, under Iran's control, shelled northern Israel on March 2.
