A police office in London's Golders Green area has been attacked.

According to Oxu.Az, citing The Telegraph, several windows of the building were smashed.

A 49-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of criminal damage and taken to a police station.

Initial reports suggest the suspect was heavily intoxicated at the time of the attack.

A police spokesperson said the front windows of the patrol base were damaged, but no injuries were reported.

"An investigation is ongoing. However, at this early stage, it is not believed to be linked to recent attacks on the local Jewish and Iranian communities," the statement added.
