The company that produced the lenses for French President Emmanuel Macron's sunglasses worn at the Davos Economic Forum has filed for bankruptcy.

According to BFMTV, "Dalloz Creations" was placed under external administration after a failed restructuring plan. Liquidation will affect 29 employees, and the company's assets have been put up for sale.

Founded in 1957, "Dalloz Creations" was considered one of Europe's leading manufacturers of lenses for sunglasses.
