Malaysian Defense Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin accused Norway of breaching a signed contract by refusing to supply "Naval Strike Missile" anti-ship missiles to Malaysia.
Speaking at a security forum in Singapore, he said the decision undermines trust in international agreements. He called the lack of criticism from Western countries a "dangerous signal."
Nordin expressed concern over double standards in the application of international law. Developing nations face severe condemnation, while powerful states receive mild reactions, he noted.
The Naval Strike Missile, produced by Norway's Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace, is designed to destroy targets at sea and on land.
