Jonathan Andic, son of Mango's founder, announced he is temporarily stepping down as vice president. He will focus on his legal defense.
According to Spain's Efe news agency, Andic will continue his involvement in family, business, and social projects. He needs time to prepare his defense in the investigation into his father's alleged murder.
Andic was detained last week and released on €1 million bail. He is suspected of involvement in the death of his father, Isak Andic, who died in a mountain fall in December 2024.
Andic called the accusations 'unfair and unfounded' and expressed hope to prove his innocence. He noted that despite difficult periods, he had a sincere relationship with his father.
He emphasized that leaving his post was a difficult decision but necessary for himself and the company's reputation.
