An Azerbaijani woman identified as M.H. and her accomplice K.T. have been arrested in Turkey's Çanakkale province for defrauding a victim of 800,000 Turkish lira under the pretense of marriage.
According to local media, the case was also discussed on a television program. M.H. introduced herself as Leyla Abdullayeva while deceiving the victim.
M.H. was detained while attempting to flee abroad, while K.T. was arrested in the Lapseki district. Both were remanded in custody by a court.
