Dmitri Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, has warned Armenia that cutting ties with Russia will lead to inevitable severe consequences for ordinary citizens.
Medvedev stated that the West views Armenia only as a tool to counter Russia and is interested in purging the political landscape of all forces supporting healthy Moscow-Yerevan relations.
“The destruction of decades-old ties will have grave repercussions for ordinary people, but the European Union does not care about this,” he emphasized.
