Mercedes-Benz to Start Weapons Production?

German automaker Mercedes-Benz is exploring entry into the defense industry. CEO Ola Källenius told The Wall Street Journal that Europe must strengthen its defense capabilities and the company is willing to play a role if possible.

Earlier, KNDS, a European defense holding, was reported to be in talks with Mercedes to acquire its plant in Stuttgart.
