US-based "Meta Platforms" is preparing to transfer nearly 7,000 employees to departments specializing in artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.
According to Oxu.Az, Bloomberg reported this based on the company's internal correspondence.
Meta's Chief Human Resources Officer, Janelle Gale, stated that special working groups will be formed to develop AI agents and new software within the organization.
Recall that earlier there were reports that the tech giant would cut its workforce by about 10% (approximately 8,000 people).
It is worth noting that since the beginning of this year, Meta's market value has slightly declined by 7.4% to $1.55 trillion.
