On the night of May 24, Ukraine's capital Kyiv again came under massive missile and drone attacks.
Central and surrounding districts, especially the "Lukyanivka" market in Shevchenko district, suffered serious damage. Ukraine's General Staff reported that Russia launched 90 ballistic missiles and 600 drones.
Most missiles were intercepted, but some hit targets. As a result, the Azerbaijani embassy building was also damaged.
A resident said: "The blast wave was so strong that it shook us even in the basement. We stayed in the shelter until morning."
Another resident told Baku TV: "The missiles started flying around three o'clock. The night was very hard. Several missiles hit the market, it was scary."
