According to Oxu.Az, the politician announced this in a video message on his social media.

He noted that he learned about the ban while trying to go to the Upper Lars checkpoint on the Russia-Georgia border.

Karapetyan emphasized that he planned to investigate the export situation of Armenia's agricultural products with a film crew: "But the border service told me that my visit to that area was prohibited and restricted my exit."

It is worth noting that Narek Karapetyan is the nephew of Samvel Karapetyan, the wealthy head of the "Strong Armenia" party.
